PALMANOVA - STRASSOLDO

Located only 30 kilometers away from the Milione Country House, known as the “Fortress Town”, Palmanova is renowned for its magnificent square, its boroughs, but especially for its unique 9-tip shape. The Fortress Gates, which today are still the gates leading to the town, are highly impressive.

At ten minutes’ drive from Palmanova you can visit Strassoldo, a small town famous for its castles: the Upper Castle (Castello di Sopra) and the Lower Castle (Castello di Sotto).
